ZIRCONIUM

ZIRCONIUM is a threat group operating out of China, active since at least 2017, and associated with the groups APT31 and Violet Typhoon. The group has targeted individuals linked to the 2020 US presidential election and prominent leaders in international affairs. ZIRCONIUM is suspected of being linked to the Chinese government and has focused on cyber espionage to gain political, economic, and military advantages. The group has exploited vulnerabilities in applications such as Java and Adobe Flash to compromise victim environments.
